I love a commission, where we work together to agree a size, format, colour palette and theme so your painting has a further layer of personal connection for you and a price to suit your budget with no hidden extras.
As I paint instinctively the final outcome will be a surprise to me and to you.
To this end, there is no obligation to purchase the finished painting if you just don't like it; this way, I paint true to myself and hopefully create something unique to you.

Price List
Price is dependent on painting size and here are some price examples for a commissioned painting on a stretched canvas surface, ready to hang - no size is too small or too big.

Making it Yours
Once we've agreed the size, we then discuss your choice of colour palette and theme for your painting along with any personal details you might like me to incorporate into your painting...this might be a song lyric, at date, a word, a poem; something personal to you that I will weave into the textures of your painting as the work progresses.
Over to Me
Every painting begins with some exploration sheets and experiments while I familiarise myself with the your paintings components.
Before I begin, I do ask for a non-refundable deposit of £60 to be paid.
If you purchase the finished painting, the deposit will be deducted from the agreed cost; if you decide you don't want to purchase the finished painting (which hasn't happened yet!) I'm afraid the deposit is non-refundable.
Communication
I will keep you informed when work begins and as it progresses but I'm happy at any stage for you to check in with me to 'see how things are going'. I'll be able to share progress pictures with you and there may even be some choices for you to make during the early layers.

I know how tricky it can be...you really want to give the gift of an original painting to celebrate a special occasion or person but what if they don't like the painting you choose for them...not a problem!
